(ITALIANO) - Nato in Ciociaria (Italia) il 15 Maggio 1964, ha iniziato gli studi di sassofono da adolescente mostrando fin dall'inizio una particolare inclinazione verso la composizione e lo studio della musica Jazz. All'età di 18 anni entrava a far parte della Banda Nazionale dell'Esercito in Roma, dove vi rimaneva per 10 anni sotto la direzione del Maestro Marino BARTOLONI. Successivamente, ha fatto parte della Banda dei Granatieri di Sardegna (Roma) e dell'Orchestra Jazz della NATO (Shape International Band) di stanza in Mons (BELGIO), ricoprendo presso quest'ultima, per oltre tre anni, la parte di 1° Sax Tenore e contribuendo fattivamente agli arrangiamenti originali affiancando il Maestro Allen WITTIG nella stesura delle partiture. Allo stato attuale, le sue composizioni ammontano a più di 200. Trattasi di brani realizzati per le più svariate formazioni musicali. In particolare, i suoi brani per banda sono molto apprezzati soprattutto per lo stile moderno in cui scrive.

 (ENGLISH) - Was born in Ciociaria (Italy) on 15 of May 1964. He was still a teenager when he started his music studies in the local community band school, showing from the very beginning a particular predisposition towards classical music composition and Jazz music. At the age of 19 he won the audition for the Italian National Army Band stationed in Rome where he served for 10 years under the direction of Col. Marino Bartoloni. After this first professional experience, he performed in the Grenadiers of Sardinia’s Band in Rome and the SHAPE International Band (the official NATO Band) stationed in Mons, Belgium. In this last post, he covered for three years the 1st Tenor Saxophone slot helping the Director, MSg Allen Wittig, in writing the original arrangements for the Big Band. So far, he has written more than 200 compositions for several music formations. His Marching/Symphonic Band tunes are very well appreciated most due to the modern style in which he writes.
